From My Blog
I will be doing a very special presentation titled Using Meta-Cognitive Problem Solving to Promote Achievement in At-Risk Students, which outlines the history and development of Wholistic Problem Solving. It is being held as part of Lesley Universities annual Community Scholars Day event. I did not initially realize that is open to the public, thinking it was strictly for the university community, but I just found out that it is not only open to the pubic, but it is also free. So if you can get the time off work, please come. I will be presenting with one of my former students, Mathew Aquasvivas, and possibly my former tutor and mentor Ned Bradford, Director of the Academic Enrichment Center at Curry College. It will be a real inter-generational look at learning disabilities and the power of meta-cognition to empower achievement. The presentation will take place at 12:00 March 28 in room 3-100 on the third floor of University Hall at the Porters Square campus. (Right by the T)
